CC Jewel was born and raised in an old steel town in North East Ohio where she currently resides with her two children. She has also lived in Michigan and California.
Her love of reading grew from sneaking books from her grandmother's massive library of diverse books.
CC Jewel discovered her love of writing by the age of eight when the imagination of others was not enough to feed her creative mind. She started writing novels in spiraled notebooks that her schoolmates took turns reading in between classes.
CC Jewel received her bachelors of arts in Professional Writing and Editing from Youngstown State University, and her masters in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
